Dongyu Gatsal Ling Initiatives, Inc.
Dongyu Gatsal Ling Initiatives is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
improving the education standards and living conditions of Tibetan
Buddhist female monastic communities by increasing public awareness
about the challenges they face and raising funds to strengthen their
present and future stability. DGLI is inspired by the mission and purposes of
Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo and of Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery, a model
of self-sufficiency and independence for the future of female spiritual advancement
